Osteopathy

At DCM Clinics, osteopathy isn’t just hands-on treatment — it’s the first step in an evidence-based process: Assess, Build, Re-test.

Osteopathy is a manual therapy aimed at relieving pain connected with musculoskeletal disorders and promoting general health. One of its key principles is that a person’s general wellbeing is related to the proper alignment of the bone, muscle and connective tissues of the body. If part of your musculoskeletal system is impaired, it can lead to biomechanical issues and health problems beyond the original misalignment — including effects on your circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems.

What sets DCM Clinics apart is how we diagnose and track that impairment. Alongside hands-on osteopathic treatment, we use objective assessment technology — including VALD ForceDecks, ForceFrame, and HumanTrak — to measure exactly how your body moves, where force is limited, and whether treatment is actually working. Rather than relying on how you feel, we retest against your own baseline data.

DCM Clinics is led by Danny Mace M.Ost, a registered osteopath and former Head of Rehabilitation at the European School of Osteopathy, who lectures internationally on rehabilitation and performance. Danny is also a five-time British jet ski champion with a world top-ten ranking, bringing an athlete’s understanding of performance and recovery to every patient.

Osteopaths typically treat a wide range of conditions including sports injuries, postural correction, arthritis, and shoulder and neck pain. Osteopathy can also help relieve headaches and digestive disorders.
